Alright, alright. Sheesh! As requested, here’s a hit piece on the captain of capture, the magnate of mojo, the drag-and-drop angry prophet of the airwaves, AvidEditor.
A few days ago, AvidEditor chose to poot forth the ridiculous notion that liberals support the anthropoegenic climate change hypothesis in order to ensure U.S. dependency on our Muslim masters and thus we will destroy our wicked Judeo-Christian overlords through gay marriage. Which is certainly an interesting spin considering that one of the most-often cited positive externalities of increased investment in renewable energy sources is the ability to wean ourselves off of our foreign oil dependency. Apparently we Islamist-Jihadist-Liberals aren’t circulating the memos to our enviro-nazi buddies.
What’s more, AV uses the thoroughly debunked propaganda piece “The Great Global Warming Swindle” to make his argument. Apparently what passes for science in the mind of the conservatroll is hearsay, conjecture, and anything liberals disagree with. Which would explain their other anti-science efforts, I suppose.
So I hereby challenge AvidEditor to provide some convincing, PEER-REVIEWED scientific evidence contradicting the scientific consensus on anthropoegenic global warming. Not some hearsay hit piece or a Wall Street Journal editorial by some economist whining about how models are inaccurate. Show me some scientific evidence that shows the AGW theory is wrong.
Oh, and please don’t insult my intelligence. I’ve heard the ice is growing in Antarctica and the Mars is warming too argument and the it’s the coldest winter ever argument and the global cooling argument before. They’ve all been thoroughly debunked. Gimme something new, please.

Global whatsis aside, I think the post is fascinating for the subtle analysis of the GayAgenda. I had no idea that its ultimate goal was submission to “our” Muslim Masters, especially since fundie Muslims hate the gays at least as much as our “Judeo-Christian overlords.” Who would have guessed that all those gay pride parades were meant to subtly evoke the Hajj. Global Cooling has never been debunked. Melting Ice Caps leads to Fresh Water in the North Atlantic. That slows down the Gulf Stream and results in cooling and lowers Tempatures. Global Warming is over. Global Cooling has just begun.
I know Global Cooling isn’t hip, but it’s reality.

When did I denied Climate Change. What I’m against is the Global Warmion hysteria. It’s over Global Warming happened already. Now we are having Global Cooling. It wasn’t just man made. It was also natural wetaher cycles. There’s really not much we can do but just get ready for real Cold Winters.

And, yes, trajan75 – I’m aware that the slowdown or shutdown of the Gulf Stream is one of the predicted climate change scenarios, with one of the possible consequences being a local cooling trend in Europe. Europe is not the globe, however, and this scenario would actually exacerbate other nasty effects of global climate change – increased storms, more intense El Niños, and the collapse of much of the ocean ecosystem.
So your argument does not disprove the AGW theory.

a Slowed down efefct America too. This lower tempatures in the Northern Hemisphere. That will lower Global Temparatures. Global Warming is outdated. It happened already. Hey Temapratures are coooler than 10 years ago. This indicated Global Cooling, which is worse than Global Warming.

The issue is not whether Global Cooling is better or worse than Global Warming. The issue is that human activity — the taking of billions of tons of carbon that had been stored safely underground and pumping it into the atmosphere — IS having an effect on the climate. The issue is not those few degrees of warmth or cooling humans will have to endure. Humans can adjust quickly. Ecosystems can’t. And since we rely on those ecosystems for our food, water, medicines, and economic stability, drastic changes to those ecosystems will have drastic effects on us.
Far worse than the “Leftist-Marxist” policies you fear so much.

I’m for Alternative Energy and Nuclear Power. That would solve alot of issues, including bankrupting your people in Iran or Saudi Arabia. The difference is I don’t believe all these policies like Kyoto or an International Energy Taxwill solve anything. The Damage is done and now we must prepare for a Mini Ice Age.
Of course Global Warming sounds better than Global Cooling so the Left and it’s media allies continue to lie to the public. Be honest, Global Warming has happened, now we are experiencing Global Cooling, which will be worse.

Agreed. A recession was already looming at the end of the Clinton administration and officially began shortly after Bush was sworn in, and ThinkProgress calls that the “first Bush recession” — although it began under Clinton. If this current economic slow down improves by the end of this Bush administration (highly likely) and Obama is sworn in (hopefully never), they will call it the Obama Recovery.
