Well, Trajan75 – I’m glad to see you taking such an interest in the plight of indigenous peoples of the world. I can only surmise that your concern is applied equally to all indigenous peoples, and that you will be hopping on an Iberia flight to Madrid very soon. Because if 1,400 years of living on a piece of land does not give a people the right to live there, then surely 400 years of living on a piece of land gives people even less right to live there.

After all, Americans don’t exist. It’s an invented term by an Italian mapmaker and his German ally in the cartographic industry.
